Round Vintage Winnowing Basket from the Philippines - 12.5" Diam. X 6" H

Vintage round intricately-woven split bamboo winnowing basket with a square base. Notice the two weaving patterns as the basket transitions from the base to the sides. This piece is structurally sound and could be used to display fruit or a light plant. Purchased in the 1960s in the Philippines, it has been well maintained and has a brown patina.  Perfect for a range of interior settings from Japandi, Wabi Sabi to Organic Inspired or Tropical.
