Djimini-style intricately hand-carved heddle pulley that combines the human face and characteristic horns of a savannah buffalo. Pulleys like these were often embellished, thus allowing artists to also showcase their carving skills. This contemporary example has an the crossbar and bobbin intact and a custom acrylic base.
Perfect in a study or office on a bookshelf or side table in a range of décor styles from Boho, California Eclectic or Mid-Century Modern to a Warm Minimalist or one having a Neutral Aesthetic.
