Luba-style hand-carved wooden figurative scepter. The lower half of the piece is comprised of four rounded notches forming a columnar base. The top half of the piece is comprised of a carved female who is standing upright with closed eyes and hands clasped together near her abdomen. She also has a braided hairstyle representative of women's headdresses in during this time period.
