Freestanding Orthoceras fossil tower with 7 attached pods. This piece is composed of several, conical in shape, fossilized remains of an extinct nautiloid cephalopod marine animal which is the ancestor to the modern-day squid. Orthoceras fossils are also connected to the root chakra, which people believe to stimulate the life-force energy in the body. This piece has great visual interest with the luster of black marble and is presented on a clear acrylic base. Use this in a variety of spaces from an office, study, bedroom, or bathroom across a range of décor themes from California Eclectic, Mid-Century Modern, Maximalist or Coastal.
