Pair of Vintage Terracotta Lions from Nepal - 10" H X 8" L X 5" W (Each)

Pair of two vintage terracotta lions from Nepal. These are in the style of metal lions made in Nepal during the 17th/18th century. Both are extremely ornate and adorned with hand modelled fired clay left unpainted and unglazed in a natural state.  Impactful and free-standing and would be at home in a variety of interior environments from Mid-Century, Asian-Inspired, Japandi, to Coastal Modern or Boho.    

Place of Origin: Nepal 

Date of Manufacture: 1960s

Condition: Very Good. Left ear and left leg on one horse repaired. Both are structurally sound.
