Chinese Ming Dynasty Gray & Rust Martaban Pot - 9" H X 7.5" Diam.

One-of-a-kind Chinese Ming Dynasty Martaban earthenware pot. This piece has a unique vase-like shape, with incised circular lines on the exterior. It has a natural patina exhibiting tones of dark gray, rust/terracotta, beige and white. It would work with any residential or commercial décor from Coastal Modern, California Casual, Organic-Inspired... to Wabi Sabi or Japandi. Part of a collection verified to be from this period produced in a kiln located in the Fujian province in SE China.
