One-of-a-kind, beautiful and intact Ban Chiang grey-ware vessel with incised linear etching on lower, mid and top sections. Graceful form with flared rim descending to a straight narrow neck, then flaring out and tapering to a round flat base. Surface of the vessel shows good age and oxidation with several areas of encrustations. Very decorative and fine example of its type with a unique vase/urn shape. It is smooth and has a natural patina exhibiting grayish-green tones that would work with any décor from Traditional, Coastal Modern, Spanish Revival... to Wabi Sabi or Organic-Inspired. Part of a verified collection.
