Sukhothai 15th/16th Century Thai Black-Glazed Jar - 15" H X 14" Diam.

One-of-a-kind 15th/16th Century black glazed jar originally from the Sukhothai province in the northern part of Thailand. This verified piece has a bulbous shape and a set of 'eyes' around the rim that would have been used for fastening a cover. It was acquired in Thailand during the early 1970s, and has a black/dark brown patina that would work with any décor setting from Coastal Modern, California Casual, Organic Inspired... to Japandi or Wabi Sabi.

Condition: Very Good
