Antique Indian/Rajasthani Puppet/Marionette Head on Base - 11.5" H

Antique early-1900s wooden puppet/marionette "Kathputlis" head from Rajasthan, a state in northwestern India. This example features handpainted detailing on a carved wood face and has been professionally mounted on a new acrylic base. 

Display on a desk, side table, or coffee table to appreciate the detail and patina. This piece would complement a variety of interior environments from Boho, Mid-Century... to  Coastal Modern.
