Vintage Blue/Turquoise Colored Indian Kumkum/Tikka Spice Box

Vintage hand-carved wooden kumkum / tikka spice box in the shape of a leaf. Pieces like this were originally used to store spices and this example has a unique bluish/turquoise patina from years of use. There are five compartments that comprise the interior, with a top that pivots/swivels smoothly to open. Display on a desk or side table to appreciate the carved design on the lid. It would complement a variety of interior environments from Boho, Tropical, Beach or Rustic.
