Shipibo-Conibo Amazon Pottery Bowl

Striking geometric-patterned, hand-painted and glazed earthenware bowl. Made by the Shipibo-Conibo people who live along the Ucayalia River in the Amazon rainforest in Peru – and painted with the traditional Shipibo designs in black and orange with a cream colored background. Acquired in Peru during the 1960s, it also includes an acrylic stand for proper display. 

This would be a great stand alone piece for any decor – or combine it with our other offerings to build a tribal pottery collection.
