Large 'Carolina Clay' Ceramic Ashtray/Vintage Studio Pottery 1974, Signed - 8" Diam. X 2.25" H

Large, vintage ceramic ashtray produced in North Carolina. The piece features a glazed interior with pattern and design featuring blue, brown, and tan tones. Outside of the piece is unglazed with three V-shaped cigarette rests around the rim. Signature on underside base “Carolina Clay ’74.”

Date of Manufacture: 1974 

Condition: Good

Wear: Consistent with age. Repairs have been made, and piece is structurally sound. Three cigarette holders; one has piece of clay missing and forms an L shape. Has also been repaired across center and the sides. Please refer to pictures.
