Striking geometric-patterned, hand-painted and glazed earthenware bowl. Made by the Shipibo-Conibo people who live along the Ucayalia River in the Amazon rainforest in Peru – and painted with the traditional Shipibo designs in black and orange with a cream-colored background. Acquired in Peru during the 1960s, it also includes an acrylic stand for proper display.
With its neutral tones, it would be at home in a variety of interior settings from Boho, California Casual... to Eclectic or Coastal Modern Design. Use it as a stand-alone piece or combine it with our other offerings to build a tribal pottery collection.
