Vintage Nahua pottery figure of a woman. Nahua potters are descended from the Aztec Indians and their pottery tradition pre-dates the Spanish settlement of Mexico. This hard-to-find, smooth, hand-sculpted piece of folk art has intricate hand-painted designs on every side. It would make a great accent in a range of décor styles from Southwestern to California Eclectic or Coastal Modern Design.
Please reference our other items in this collection as there are different unique designs/styles and all would be perfect as either a stand-alone piece of art or part of a larger grouping.
