Benin-Style Bronze Sculpture of a Seated African King and Queen from Nigeria

Pair of Benin-style seated bronze castings of a King and Queen. The King is holding a royal scepter and wearing traditional ceremonial garments and crown. The Queen is holding a fan and is wearing a crown with four looped braids and traditional skirt with several necklaces.

Both statues have an amazing patina and are displayed on black lucite bases. African pieces such as this will stand out while complementing any décor taste from Mid-Century Modern... to Globally-Inspired or Boho.
