Benin-style seated bronze sculpture of a Queen. She is holding a spear in her right hand with the left hand touching her skirt. She has an elaborate headdress and several necklaces, a long robe with tassels and bare feet. This piece has an amazing patina, rests on a new base of smoke gray lucite, and has clear plexiglass rod to represent her missing staff. African pieces such as this will stand out while complementing any décor taste from Mid-Century Modern... to Globally Inspired or Boho.
