BasketsIntricately woven split bamboo "butit" basket used to house locusts. A woven funnel would be held underneath a tree while it was shaken in order to dislodge the locusts. The funnel then would direct the insects into this butit basket made of rattan strips. The slats were woven with some space in between so they could remain alive until roasted and eaten.
