Intricately-woven antique Philippine Baluyan bamboo basket used for the transport or storage of cooked food (open pattern allows for easy passage of air). Purchased in the 1960s in the Philippines – and has been part of a designer’s collection. Perfect in a range of décor environments from Japandi, Organic Modern, Coastal or 1970s Revival.
