Black Agate on Base

This is a piece of black agate from Brazil. It exhibits tones of black, dark purple, white, brown and grey with flecks of gold. People believe agate to have grounding properties helping to stabilize the mind and spirit. Half of this piece is smooth and the other half exposes the natural composition of this mineral for added interest. It is mounted on a clear base of acrylic and would be a welcome addition to a study or a bedroom across a range of décor themes from Modern, Mid-Century, Transitional or Eclectic.
