Djimini-style (Jimini) intricately hand-carved heddle pulley that combines the human face and characteristic horns of a savannah buffalo. Pulleys like these were often embellished, thus allowing artists to also showcase their carving skills. This contemporary example has an the crossbar and bobbin intact and a custom acrylic base.
