Intricately woven bamboo lidded backpack. For this piece, the weaver used two different gauges of split bamboo and rattan braces and bindings along with carefully sized shoulder straps that show their skill. The unique shape, color variation and sheer craftsmanship is typical of this mountainous region.
This extremely hard to find one-of-a-kind piece will add interest to any décor from Tropical to Rustic or Farmhouse, or be a striking addition as part of a basket or purse collection. Collected in the Philippines, this piece has an amazing rich brown patina.
