Intricate, hand-carved teak panel from Myanmar (Burma). Superior craftsmanship creates a 3D work of art with extraordinary detail. This piece is hand-carved into two distinct layers from a single piece of teak. The 'kanote' (curving orchid leaf pattern) is in the style typical of the Yadanapon Period. Panels are preserved with a teak marine-grade sealant.
