Vintage woven split bamboo "gubu" fish trap basket from the Bontok peoples. A tool for catching small fish in the rice paddies, its loop could then be tied to the back of the user’s hip. Due the age, condition, and amazing dark brown colored patina - it will add interest to any décor. Use in a variety of interior spaces from Japandi, Coastal Modern... to Rustic or Wabi Sabi.
